Fix Base is a clear, self-levelling base with a thinner consistency than Rubber Base. It suits a thin foundation layer and work with compatible gel tips.

Properties and working characteristics

• Fix Base is more fluid than standard Rubber Base. Its medium-fluid, self-levelling texture is primarily intended as a thin foundation beneath hard gels, acrygels, coloured bases and Premium Gel. The manufacturer also specifies it for gel-tip applications.
• The manufacturer specifies pH 3–4. Very thin or damaged nails may experience a stronger heat sensation during curing.

Application

1. Remove the previous coating, perform the manicure and gently prepare the nail surface without excessive thinning. Remove dust and thoroughly remove any cuticle-remover residue.
2. Use LunaMOON Nail Prep to cleanse the nail plate and the areas near the cuticle and sidewalls. Apply preparation liquids and any required primer sparingly, following the selected system.
3. Rub in a thin layer of Fix Base with a flat brush and cure for 60 seconds. Apply the next gel, acrygel, coloured base or gel tips according to their specific procedure.
4. Apply a suitable top coat and cure according to its directions. Remove the inhibition layer only if that particular top requires it.

Precautions and storage

The manufacturer states a 24-month shelf life and a maximum of 12 months after opening. Follow the marking on the actual packaging.

For professional use only. Avoid skin and eye contact with uncured material. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep tightly closed, away from children, direct sunlight and UV/LED curing lamps. Follow the directions and expiry information on the actual packaging. Lighting and display settings may affect the apparent shade.
