Base Marker holds a liquid clear base in an applicator. The format allows precise dispensing for a thin foundation beneath another compatible material. Close the applicator securely after use.
Properties and working characteristics
- Base Marker contains a more fluid version of Rubber Base in a pen-style applicator. It allows small amounts to be dispensed for a thin foundation beneath hard materials or coloured bases. Replace the cap firmly immediately after use and protect the tip from UV/LED light.
- The manufacturer allows removal by filing or a suitable remover. Choose the method according to all layers in the manicure; do not peel the coating off.
- The manufacturer specifies pH 3–4. Very thin or damaged nails may experience a stronger heat sensation during curing.
Application
- Remove the previous coating, perform the manicure and gently prepare the nail surface without excessive thinning. Remove dust and thoroughly remove any cuticle-remover residue.
- Use LunaMOON Nail Prep to cleanse the nail plate and the areas near the cuticle and sidewalls. Apply preparation liquids and any required primer sparingly, following the selected system.
- Use the applicator to apply a thin layer of Base Marker and cure for 60 seconds. Retain the inhibition layer as required by the next material’s procedure. Close the applicator immediately.
- Apply a suitable top coat and cure according to its directions. Remove the inhibition layer only if that particular top requires it.
Precautions and storage
The manufacturer states a 24-month shelf life and a maximum of 12 months after opening. Follow the marking on the actual packaging.
For professional use only. Avoid skin and eye contact with uncured material. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep tightly closed, away from children, direct sunlight and UV/LED curing lamps. Follow the directions and expiry information on the actual packaging. Lighting and display settings may affect the apparent shade.
