Acid Free Base is a flexible, clear acid-free base. Use it beneath compatible gel polish or camouflage base, or to level short nails. Its medium consistency helps control the applied layer.
Properties and working characteristics
- Acid Free Base is a clear acid-free base with a medium consistency. It can form a foundation beneath compatible gel polishes and camouflage bases or level short nails. The acid-free designation describes the base type; it does not mean the product cannot cause an allergic reaction.
- The self-levelling texture helps create an even colour coat. Spread the material uniformly and avoid excess product near the cuticle.
- The manufacturer allows removal by filing or a suitable remover. Choose the method according to all layers in the manicure; do not peel the coating off.
Application
- Remove the previous coating, perform the manicure and gently prepare the nail surface without excessive thinning. Remove dust and thoroughly remove any cuticle-remover residue.
- Use LunaMOON Nail Prep to cleanse the nail plate and the areas near the cuticle and sidewalls. Apply preparation liquids and any required primer sparingly, following the selected system.
- Apply a thin coat of Acid Free Base to the prepared nail. To level short nails, distribute a levelling amount according to the required architecture. On long nails, use it as a foundation beneath a suitable reinforcing material rather than as the only structural layer.
- Fully cure each coat in a compatible lamp. Use the time specified for the actual product and lamp.
- Apply a suitable top coat and cure according to its directions. Remove the inhibition layer only if that particular top requires it.
Precautions and storage
For professional use only. Avoid skin and eye contact with uncured material. Discontinue use if irritation occurs. Keep tightly closed, away from children, direct sunlight and UV/LED curing lamps. Follow the directions and expiry information on the actual packaging. Lighting and display settings may affect the apparent shade.
